Terms of Use
Last updated: 2 October 2026
Agreement to these terms
These terms govern your use of Bamboo Works AI Academy, operated by [Bamboo Works legal entity name] (“we”, “us”). By signing in and using the platform you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
Your account
You can create an account by signing up where registration is open, or an administrator can invite you to one. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for activity carried out under your account. Do not share your account or let anyone else use it. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, download, record, re-publish or redistribute course videos, exercises or other materials outside the platform;
- share your account, or otherwise give anyone access to courses or materials they are not entitled to;
- attempt to bypass access controls, probe or scan the service, or interfere with its normal operation;
- submit unlawful, infringing, malicious or deliberately harmful content, or anyone else’s personal data, through the exercises, prompt tools or feedback form;
- use the platform to build or train a competing service, or to extract its content in bulk by automated means.
Course materials and intellectual property
The platform, its course materials, videos and assessments belong to us or to our licensors. You are granted a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use them for your own learning while your account is active. No other rights are granted.
YouTube
Lesson videos embedded from YouTube are provided through YouTube API Services. By using the Academy, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, which govern your use of those videos.
Work you submit
You keep ownership of the answers and text you submit. You grant us permission to process and store them in order to run the platform — grading your work, giving you feedback and reporting on your progress. How that processing works, and which third parties are involved, is set out in the Privacy Notice.
AI-generated feedback
Parts of this platform use AI to grade written answers, generate feedback and produce suggested prompts. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or misleading. It is provided to support your learning and is not professional, legal, financial or medical advice. Scores and feedback are indicative; check anything you intend to rely on, and raise it with us if a grade looks wrong.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and may need to take the service down for maintenance. Course content may be updated or retired over time.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, or if your access is no longer required. You may ask us to close your account at any time — see Data & Privacy in your profile. Closing your account ends your licence to use the materials.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or data, arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. [Any cap on our total liability is to be set on legal review.]
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and the courts of [venue] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and material changes will be notified to you in the application. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
